I received many questions on The Excel VBA Inner Circle program since it was launched. I summarize here the most frequent questions and my answers to them.

Last week I published a Blog post I thought would be all you may need in order to choose the right Inner Circle plan for you.

However, I am still getting some questions from some Excel enthusiasts about the program.

Today’s post is dedicated to those still having questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:           I already learned Excel VBA and get along pretty well. Why should I join the Inner Circle?

A:            Chances are, you were not taught to be a computer programmer. As a programmer, your analysis of every task takes a totally different angle. There is a lot more to building solutions with Excel VBA than just knowing the syntax of statements and copying code from the Internet you may not even fully understand. You are now using a great pair of bicycles, I’m offering you an airplane.

Q:           I don’t have the time for all of the activities.

A:            You need not take all of the activities. Use what you need, when you need it. When you’re focusing on learning VBA – invest time in taking the courses. When seeking new challenges to open up your imagination and exploration of new techniques – take the challenge. One way or another, you should plan to invest some 90 minutes a week on average to get a good value out of it. Does your career deserve it?

Q:           The program looks terrific, but it’s too expensive for me.

A:            Have you weighed the value you get from the Inner Circle against the required investment? How many hours are you wasting today on Excel tasks that can be eliminated by working properly with good programming practices and performant programs? What alternative do you see in promoting your professional career for a modest investment worth a movies’ night out a month?

Q:           What if I subscribe and find it to be not what I thought?

A:            Then let me know after 30 days and you’ll get your money back (and keep my Udemy course for life). I would not want to see people that are not helped by me in the Inner Circle.
